—Discipline imposed from the outside eventually defeats when it is not matched by desire from within. (Dawson Trotman)
The other day, I re-installed Threes to my iPhone. I always loved that game, it is “easy to learn, impossible to master”. It is also an insane time killing tool, and this is why I already deleted it more than once, only to re-install it again at some point.
I recommended this game to a friend, who was more into playing Dots at this time, and she would soon blame me for “you have totally destroyed me with this game of Threes!”
In fact, I more than once missed my station while playing Threes on the metro.
This game kills time and it kills the sense of time, it is evil and fun, and it was my ex-wife who got me hooked (I still like her anyways).
Should you be interested in fostering your addictive behaviours in a socially more acceptable way than with illicit substances, the game is available on App Store and Play Store (though I find dealing with those kinds of behaviours by other means might be an even better idea).
There is a very interesting kind of blog from the developers about how this game evolved, and how it became popular: Making-of-Threes.

Although the Lorem Ipsum bears some similarity with a text from classical writer Cicero, it is all nonsense, so to not distract the reader. Considered you didn´t spoke latin, because if you did, it may distract you a lot, maybe. I don´t know, I don´t speak latin.
That being said, even if you never wanted to know or never cared, the Lorem Ipsum doesn´t mean shit.
—Release: 24 April 2020 (Warp Records / Rough Trade)
The press copy says the artist´s name is Lorenzo Senni, but I believe this is a collabo between Super Mario and Yoko Ono. I also believe they both took a fair amount of Acid, and broke into a state-of-the-art recording studio on a sunny Sunday morning.
I like this very weird record. A university degree in any kind of fine art, such as mathematics, may help to understand it (I can´t tell if I did).

To me, Gang Starr´s second studio album is an outstanding milestone of Rap music, and will eternally be one of my top five albums ever released.
To the people who assume listening to old school rap is a sign of not having evolved, I suggest listening to “Say Your Prayers”.

—Love what you do. (Steve Jobs)
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs never earned an university degree. He received an honorary degree, though, and he held the Commencement Address at Stanford in 2005, which is really worth seeing. What I like most is his work ethics, which he concludes with „Love what you do“ (instead of the hedonism of „do what you love“).
